Champagne connoisseur Peter Doomen describes this sparkling wine as follows:
“Marquise de Moulbaix Blanc de Blancs 2020 opens with a yeasty scent with citrus fruits. Later the aroma changes to peach. The acids are tight and the aftertaste, which is more than decent, shows some white pepper. Compared to champagne, this is the fresh millésimé style. Adding reserve wines in the coming years will give this fine wine even more depth and length, but for a first harvest this is the nail on the head.”
