The owner of Domaine Gourt de Mautens is Jérome Bressy. His story began in 1996 when he inherited his father's domain. He bought several plots of land. In recent years, biodynamics has made its appearance in the field.
The domain Gourt de Mautens extends over 13 hectares in Rasteau. Organic viticulture is used in order to be able to produce a top wine with respect for terroir and nature. Two thirds of the vineyards are between 45 and 90 years old. The rest range between 5 and 30 years.
Dark red color. Aromas of black fruits and spices. Round and luscious in the mouth. Nice balance between power and finesse. Ripe tannins.
Mainly Grenache (70%), in addition especially Carignan, supplemented by Mourvèdre, Syrah, Counoise, Muscardin and Vaccarèse.
